The customer required emergency fire damage mitigation and contents restoration for their mobile home. A significant fire occurred underneath the trailer, destroying the belly paper and insulation, and compromising the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC ducting systems. The home also suffered from interior soot and smoke contamination, requiring professional pack-out and cleaning.
Our team provided a comprehensive recovery solution by conducting a detailed structural assessment of the home's sub-flooring, where we identified that the framing remained intact despite the destruction of the insulation and belly paper. To address the smoke and fire impact, we developed a restoration plan involving professional cleaning, sanding, and shellacking of the structural components. Simultaneously, we executed a large-scale contents management operation, using digital tracking software to inventory and pack belongings from every room for secure transport and off-site deodorisation. Throughout the process, we managed the full logistics of the pack-out using a specialized fleet and maintained constant communication with the homeowners and insurance representatives to navigate policy limits and ensure a seamless restoration.
