The customer required extensive restoration and crawlspace remediation following an exterior water intrusion that damaged the garage and compromised the home's subfloor environment. The project involved addressing water-damaged drywall, outdated or soiled insulation, and rodent contamination found within the crawlspaces.
Our team performed a full-scale restoration and crawlspace overhaul. Firstly removed the damaged materials and installed new insulation, vapor barriers, and a combination of 1/2" and 5/8" sheetrock. We completed the process with professional fire taping and drywall finishing. Systematically removed contaminated insulation and old vapor barriers from three distinct areas (ADU, entryway, and master suite). We addressed rodent issues and sanitized the areas before installing high-efficiency insulation and new vapor barriers. Removed and replaced all flex ducting across the crawlspaces to ensure clean air distribution and structural integrity. Removed all construction debris and protection (ram board), secured all access hatches, and performed a comprehensive site clean-up to ensure the homeowner’s satisfaction.
