The customer contacted us after a leaking drain pipe was discovered in the crawlspace during electrical work. While there was no interior flooding, the leak caused wet insulation and microbial growth, requiring cleanup and mitigation.
We performed a full crawlspace mitigation and cleanup. This included removing all wet and affected insulation, sanding areas with microbial growth, and coordinating with the customer while a plumber addressed the leaking drain. After ensuring the source of the leak was being repaired, we returned to complete the job by removing remaining debris, trimming insulation for future replacement, and conducting moisture mapping to confirm the area was dry. Our team applied On & Gone treatment followed by antimicrobial solution to sanitize the affected areas. All debris was properly bagged and disposed of, and the entire process was documented with photos. PPE and safety protocols were followed throughout the project to ensure a safe and thorough restoration.
