The customer experienced significant water damage in their crawl space, leading to a compromised vapor barrier, standing water, and visible mold growth on surfaces and insulation. There were also signs of moisture damage and discoloration on wooden structural elements.
Our team performed comprehensive water extraction and drying services in the crawl space. This included removing the damaged vapor barrier, addressing active moisture sources, and employing professional drying equipment. Mold remediation was carried out to remove all visible mold growth from structural components and insulation. We replaced the damaged insulation and installed a new, robust vapor barrier. Additionally, affected wooden elements were treated and restored, as indicated by the use of solid color oil stain for protection and aesthetic improvement, ensuring the crawl space was thoroughly dried, decontaminated, and protected against future moisture issues.
